The RV2’s Ky X1 results are a step in the right direction, though we’re still a long way from RISC-V boards being competitive with similarly priced ARM options on raw compute. The software ecosystems for both chips are still maturing too, so if you’re picking one of these up, you’ll want to be comfortable with a bit of tinkering to get things working the way you want, but the software wasn’t completely terrible, which is nice.
